Les3Chalets offers catered chalets on a per person basis as well as whole units for groups that can be rented on a self-catered or catered basis with the choice of two different menus; Menu Delia and Menu Heston! We focus on location and price and like to think we have a little bit of everything… chalets with ski-in/ ski-out access, those with village settings and one or two just a stumble from the centre of the apres-ski universe!
Les3Chalets came into being to use up the surplus weeks in the three chalets of her sister company, SnowSkool which offers snowboard & ski instructor courses in Méribel. We quickly found out that we were pretty good at that and at servicing our guest! So we expanded and, for the 2012/ 13 snow-season, we are delighted to offer six chalets based in the Méribel Valley.
Alongside our growth, our impeccable standards have been maintained. Brothers Steve & Phil Purdie, the two founders of Les3Chalets, were brought up by a Scottish Mother whose attention to detail and insistence on punctuality, politeness and good home economics were/ are legendary. These early lessons run through everything we do and have become the basis of our philosophy; to offer our guests 4-star chalets with 5-star service but at 3-star prices. Without doubt, the most important expression of this is through every member of our team. We stay relatively small and tight-knit, we don’t go in for mass recruitment of gap year students…every team member is hand-picked because, as a family company, we regard recruitment as asking someone to join the family and entrant requirements are high!
Les3Chalets is Méribel born and bred…we only manage Chalets here because, only in Méribel can we offer the valuable insights that come with having lived and worked in the resort for many years. For us, Méribel is the ultimate ski resort. The Three Valleys is the world’s largest inter-connected ski area with over 600km of pistes. You can carve the groomers down to Saint Martin de Belleville first thing before heading up to Val Thorens to take lunch in the highest ski resort in Europe and then heading two valleys over to Courchevel 1850 for a spot of après - and all on one ski pass! The diversity in terms of skiing, ambience (and prices !) is mind-blowing!
And right at the heart of the Three Valleys is the Méribel valley. As well as the skiing, Méribel has fantastic amenities; the Olympic Centre offers swimming pools, a spa, a gym, a climbing wall, ice-skating and ten-pin bowling. There are plenty of eateries ranging from cheap pizzerias to classy five-star restaurants. As for the wee hours, Méribel‘s nightlife has a worldwide reputation with many popular bars such as le Rondpoint (Ronnies), Dick’s Tea Bar and Jack’s Bar. You won’t be disappointed!
